Electronic Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for the efficient operation of the assembly and test areas, and establishing, implementing, and directing quality assurance efforts to ensure that requirements for processing components and other materials into finished goods conform to quality standards.

Brief Description of Job Duties :

• Manage production schedules and oversee the quality of work performed by Assemblers and Technicians, including PCB assembly, mechanical assembly, and electronic system testing
• Ensure personnel adherence to company safety policies and procedures
• Prioritize work-in-progress (WIP) based on backlog and shipment deadlines
• R esponsible for training, assigning du t i es, and ef f i c iently planni n g employee activities.
• Maintain records of personnel performance and attendance, and take corrective action when necessary
• Identify and implement new manufacturing methods to improve efficiency and productivity
• Part i c i p ate in the design change control board (C C B ) .
• Review, updat e , and maintain manufacturing work instructions a nd forms.
• P erf o rm other dut i es as assigned

The applicant MUST have the following qualifications :

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, including direct supervision of production teams (10–20 personnel)

Knowledge of electronic and electromechanical manufacturing methods, including efficient manufacturing techniques aligned with published workmanship standards such as IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001

Strong analytical, financial, and strategic planning skills

Ability to manage a diverse group of production personnel

Effective team-building and interpersonal relationship skills

Proficient with ERP software

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively interface with internal departments

The WANTS for this position are :

• Experience with Visual Manufacturing ERP software

Familiarity with Empower or similar Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software

Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs)

Experience in working in a small company environment

Experience with Crystal Reports

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word

Exposure to Lean Manufacturing techniques and process improvements

Ability to multitask and adapt to changing production schedules and priorities

This job requires working 1st shift from 6 AM - 3 : 30 PM based on a 9 / 80 work schedule.
