Job summary

Ahtna, Inc. Electronic Maintenance Tech II – VA – ALL maintains, repairs and troubleshoots systems to ensure Operational Availability for the USMC. Reports to the Program Manager and can work independently to complete tasks as required.

The pay rate is $37.35/hour + $5.09/hour H&W, and the role requires a high school diploma, 3+ years electronics experience, US citizenship, a valid driver's license, and ability to pass a background check. Shift work for 24/7 exercise events may occur.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; trade school helpful.
• 3+ years electronics/electronics security systems experience.
• Thorough understanding of USMC standards used in maintenance actions.
• Background check and US citizenship required.
• Must have valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, repairs, troubleshoots, modifies and installs electronic equipment and related devices.
• Applies knowledge of electronics principles to diagnose and repair equipment.
• Implements quality control and reporting procedures throughout maintenance.
• Restores equipment operation and evaluates system performance.
• Documents all maintenance actions in the Management Information System.
• Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on training systems.
• Completes maintenance records, logbooks, and inventories.
• Proficient with current and future versions of simulation software/hardware.
• Provides usage and maintenance reports to the Site Lead and Program Manager.
