Honeywell Aerospace is seeking an Electronic Machine Builder to assemble, test and troubleshoot electronic machinery, ensuring top quality and performance. You will produce high quality products, inspect work, and participate in continuous improvement efforts across safety, production and quality.

The role supports a 5th shift: Monday & Friday 10:00 am- 6:00 pm and Saturday & Sunday 10:00 am- 10:00 pm, with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and electronics training transcripts required.
• Experience with assembling, testing, and troubleshooting electronics.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electronic devices per specs and instructions.
• Check balance, alignment, and dimensions; record parameters.
• Use mechanical, electrical and optical checking equipment.
• Calibrate assemblies to meet final specifications.
• Diagnose defects and perform repairs or replacements.

Job description

As an Electronic Machine Builder here at Honeywell, you will assemble, test, and troubleshoot electronic machinery, ensuring top quality and performance.

an Electronic Machine Builder will Produce high quality products and services for our customers. You will assemble and inspect product to ensure the highest quality product is provided to our customers. You will be responsible for your work area to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the area. You will set up and monitor the production of product in your area and participate in the continuous improvement process at the site to address safety, production and quality improvements

this role will support 5th shift: Monday & Friday 10:00 am- 6:00 pm and Saturday & Sunday 10:00 am- 10:00 pm

please note training may take place on a different shift, and the role may include mandated overtime

• Assemble mechanical and/or electronic devices and assemblies referring to engineering specs, prints, layouts and/or verbal instructions.
• Check and adjust for balance, alignment, tension, spacing, physical dimensions, outputs and adjustable parameters and record non-adjustable parameters.
• Use a variety of manual and automated mechanical, electrical and optical checking equipment.
• Calculate raw data and adjust/calibrate assemblies to achieve the final specification as required.
• Check faulty assemblies using mechanical checking equipment.
• Analyze and diagnose findings to determine defects and method of repair.
• Disassembles, replaces parts, readjust and reassemble devices to complete repairs

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Two or more classes of progressive electronics training from an accredited college or universi ty. (Intro to Electronics I and II, etc) Must be able to provide transcripts

Hourly Pay Range

The hourly range for this position is $31.86. Please note that this compensation information serves as a general guideline.
