Job summary

Confidential Employer is seeking an experienced service plumber specializing in electronic leak detection to service Middle Tennessee. The role focuses on identifying buried leaks, performing diagnostics, and executing repairs for residential and commercial customers.

You will work on advanced leak detection tasks, use tracer gas and sewer cameras, and contribute to high-quality customer service while following safety and local codes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience using electronic leak detection equipment.
• Experience locating underground leaks using audio and tracer gas.
• General plumbing service and repair experience.
• Sewer camera experience strongly preferred.
• Dye testing, pressure testing, system isolation, and locating equipment experience is a plus.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
• Ability to work independently and make sound field decisions.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors and performing physical tasks including digging, lifting, kneeling, and accessing difficult areas.
• Strong communication, documentation, and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record as determined by our commercial insurance carrier.
• Must be located in Middle Tennessee or willing to relocate quickly.

Responsibilities

• Perform electronic leak detection on residential and commercial water systems.
• Diagnose concealed, underground, and difficult-to-locate water leaks using professional electronic and acoustic equipment.
• Use pressure testing, system isolation, tracer gas, locating equipment, and other diagnostic methods to identify leak sources.
• Accurately identify and mark suspected leak locations.
• Determine appropriate repair solutions and perform plumbing repairs after leaks are located.
• Repair underground and above-ground water lines, valves, fittings, PRVs, piping, and other plumbing components.
• Perform general residential and commercial plumbing service and troubleshooting as needed.
• Work with common plumbing materials including copper, PEX, PVC, and CPVC.
• Perform sewer camera inspections, dye testing, and other diagnostic services when required.
• Communicate findings and repair recommendations clearly with customers, property managers, and the office team.
