Job summary

SiTime is seeking an Electronic Lab Technician to grow and support its Santa Clara electronics test lab. You will develop, test, maintain, and repair SiTime products and equipment, support prototyping and PCB assembly, and document work in technical reports in a fast-paced lab environment.

The role involves performing test protocols, data analysis, calibration, and ensuring safe lab operation. A degree in Electronics plus hands-on semiconductor testing experience are required, with opportunities

Qualifications

AS in Electronics or Electronics Technology, BS a plus.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
Hands-on experience testing semiconductor devices, including ATE and bench-test setups.
Hands-on PCB assembly (hand-solder and reflow), SMT and chip-scale packages.
Experience with Agilent/Keysight bench equipment (power supplies, DMMs, oscilloscopes, etc.).
Ability to create and modify electronic schematics.
MATLAB experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist engineers in device test and qualification activities, including test procedures and data handling.
Assemble and troubleshoot circuit boards and test fixtures, including hand-solder and reflow of chip-scale packages.
Maintain work area and equipment in safe, proper working conditions.
Troubleshoot issues with bench test equipment or test setup.
Record accurate test data for problem analysis and engineering estimates.
Maintain and repair laboratory equipment.
