Job summary

Sofidel America in Hattiesburg, MS is seeking an Electronic and Instrumentation Technician to join our maintenance team. You will perform electrical and instrumentation maintenance, repair components, program monitoring systems, and troubleshoot to keep the plant safe and efficient.

Key responsibilities include preventive maintenance, PLC/DCS work, input/output data collection, wiring, and collaboration with contractors and vendors.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• Two+ years of experience in related industrial manufacturing areas.

Responsibilities

• Supports GMP and HACCP to promote a safe workplace.
• Perform preventative electrical maintenance and troubleshoot instrumentation and electrical systems.
• Explore process improvements and collaborate with team to resolve problems.
• Program computerized monitoring systems and input/output data for efficiency tracking.
• Manage contractors and vendors to monitor improvements and safety.
