Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Digitize and index medical records and diagnostic images into electronic systems.
• Ensure image quality, accuracy, and completeness of patient records.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and health data security policies.
• Coordinate with clinicians and HIM staff to resolve imaging or documentation issues.
• Monitor imaging queues and prioritize workload for timely record availability.
• Perform routine quality audits and contribute to process improvements.
• Troubleshoot basic issues with scanners and imaging software.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the imaging workflow.
