Base pay range

$35.00/hr - $50.00/hr

Lifesaver Fire Protection, one of the largest privately owned sprinkler companies, is looking for Fire Alarm Service Technicians to help grow our alarm and detection service to match our thriving sprinkler business. Medical, dental, PTO, and retirement plan with company match are included.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, inspect, maintain, and repair fire alarm systems, burglar alarm systems, and access control systems.
• Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure all work complies with NFPA, NEC, state, and local codes.
• Work with low voltage wiring and associated devices.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients and contractors.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and submit required documentation.
• Train end-users on system operation and functionality.
• Respond to emergency service calls when needed.

Qualifications

• State Fire Alarm License (or ability to obtain one).
• NICET Certification (preferred but not required).
• Experience with fire alarm panels (Notifier, EST, Simplex, Honeywell, etc.), burglar alarms, and access control systems.
• Knowledge of NFPA 72, NEC, and other relevant codes.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work on ladders or in confined spaces.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Strong communication skills and customer-focused attitude.
