Job summary

SoloPoint Solutions in Los Angeles, CA seeks an avionics hardware engineer with 3–5+ years of experience to lead circuit board design from concept to prototype, focusing on reliable avionics and electronics for autonomous vehicles with PCB layout supervision.

You will develop schematics, perform testing and validation, collaborate with cross‑functional teams on reviews, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience designing avionics and electronic systems from concept through functional prototype.
• Knowledge of analog, mixed-signal and digital circuits.
• Experience with test equipment and CAD tools such as Altium.
• Experience working in small to medium R&D teams in fast-paced environments.
• UAV or aircraft electronics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and debug avionics systems and subsystems, including schematic creation and PCB layout supervision.
• Perform system integration, troubleshooting, and validation of electronic components and wire harnesses.
• Participate in full lifecycle PCB design, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on design reviews, product updates, and deployment activities.
• Support manufacturing and deployment of autonomous vehicle electronics, ensuring compliance with best practices and standards.
