Job summary

Owen Daniels in Ohio seeks an Electronics Engineer to join a Global Aerospace & Automotive Engineering organization. You will develop technologies, manage the life cycle of multiple platforms in a sustaining and continuous improvement environment, and work in a cross functional engineering team.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, 5+ years experience, and hands-on design of analog/digital circuits, PCB design, and EMC considerations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in electronics design within automotive, aerospace, or related fields.
• Experience with DO-160 EMC requirements is a bonus.

About the company:

I'm supporting a hugely successful Global Aerospace & Automotive Engineering organization located in Ohio (USA) that's hiring a brand-new Electronics Engineer to join the company in which opportunities for both professional and personal development will be provided within the organization.

The Role:

The successful Electronics Engineer will work in a vibrant cross functional engineering team, to develop technologies and innovative solutions. In addition to this the Electronics Engineer will be responsible for new product electronic design and the life cycle of a number of platforms in a sustaining role and continuous improvement environment.

We're looking for experience with:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience
• Electronics Circuit Design (analog and digital)
• PCB Design – Altium preferred but open to others
• Experience of brake controls, hydraulic or electrical motor systems, electronic braking systems
• Knowledge & experience of Jira, DOORS, MATLAB, LABVIEW, LTSpice, PSpice
• Extensive Circuit Analysis, Testing and Troubleshooting experience
• Experience with designing for, testing and resolving DO-160 EMC requirements - Bonus
• Motivated, loves engineering, technical person, an individual contributor, figure things out, be in the lab, curious.
• Industry experience for Automotive, Aerospace, Electric Vehicles, Defense

• 15 days PTO + 13 paid holidays, the 15 days rises with service
• 5% 401k match and a separate retirement plan also alongside this which is around 3% of pay that vests after 3 years employment
