Electronic Distribution Specialist (Remote Opportunity)

Grow your career as Electronic Distribution Specialist within ALG Vacations. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for supporting the rapid growth of direct connect remote source hotel,car, and air product through effective implementation project management, system configuration, and usability testing.

Essential Functions:

• Manage process to successfully implement electronic links to hotel, car, and air product utilizing available remote interface technologies supported by ALG and Trisept Solutions.
• Effectively communicate and facilitate meetings with suppliers, internal ALG departments and Trisept Solutions as necessary to support remote source initiatives.
• Perform analysis of remote source product as needed.
• Work with all ALG business units to support distribution of product through remote source interface links.
• Monitor daily and effectively respond to Electronic Distribution Team mailbox emails.
• Investigate and resolve remote source issues reported from both internal departments and external partners.
• Elevate system issues through Trisept Solutions and third parties such as HBSi, Dhisco, Derbysoft and EPS.
• Perform required testing/test scenarios for each implementation project to ensure accuracy and quality standards with the dynamic connection.
• Provide meaningful feedback and insight on Trisept projects involving remote source functionality and/or usability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (BA) from four-year college or university; or two or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Travel industry knowledge or experience.
• Administration and Management – Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique and coordination of people and resources.
• Customer Service – Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
• Engineering and Technology – Knowledge of the design of computer systems, networks, communication and software.
• Complex Problem-solving – Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
• Instructing – Selecting and using training/instructional methods and teaching others how to do something.
• Negotiation – Bringing others together and trying to reconcile differences.
• Persuasion – Persuading others to change their minds or behavior.
• Judgment and Decision-Making – Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.

The pay range for this position is an hourly rate of $19.75 to $23.55. This position is also eligible to earn overtime, shift differentials and premium pay under certain circumstances, or incentive awards.

The final pay rate/salary offered to the successful candidate will depend on experience, skill level and other qualifications for the role, as well as the location of the performance of work.Pay for the successful candidate will meet local requirements, including the local minimum wage rate.
