Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace US LLC in Redmond, WA is seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure compliance with quality standards, lead process improvements, and collaborate across cross-functional teams to enhance product quality and reliability.

You will report to the Quality Engineering Manager at the Redmond site and contribute by driving CAPA, NCR/MRB actions, PPAP readiness, and QMS alignment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with 2+ years in quality engineering in manufacturing.
  • Experience with PPAP, NCR/MRB, CAPA and FMEA processes.
  • Proficiency in quality tools and data-driven improvement methods.

Responsibilities

  • Drive quality improvements and maintain QMS adherence across the facility.
  • Lead NCR/MRB processes and drive corrective actions.
  • Investigate CAPA issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Perform FMEA to identify risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Support NPI and sustaining manufacturing with cross-functional collaboration.

Job description

Job Overview

You will report directly to our Quality Engineering Manager and work out of our Redmond, WA location. In this role, you will impact the organization by ensuring compliance with quality standards, leading efforts in process improvements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality and reliability.

Responsibilities
  • Drive quality improvements and culture throughout the facility by strict adherence to the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and Material Review Board (MRB) processes, driving corrective actions and preventive measures.
  • Conduct CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) investigations to address quality issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Perform FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and sustaining manufacturing efforts by collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality requirements are met.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
  • 2+ years of experience in quality engineering or related roles within manufacturing or supply chain environments.
  • Strong knowledge of quality engineering practices, methodologies, and tools.
  • Experience with PPAP, NCR/MRB, CAPA, and FMEA processes.
  • Proficiency in quality management systems and tools, including statistical analysis software and quality improvement methodologies.
