Job summary

TekWissen is seeking an Electronics Engineer with at least 2 years of experience to support aerospace PCB development in Fort Worth, TX. You will design, test, and certify printed circuit board modules for aircraft, and work with Altium for layout, SPICE simulations, and FPGA/Verilog designs to meet DO-254 and MIL-STD requirements.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and prepare certification and functional test documents to verify proper operation of electronic assemblies,

Qualifications

  • Proficient in analog and digital circuit design.
  • Experience with C programming language.
  • Knowledge of aerospace standards and MIL/DO-254/DO-160.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with development, design, testing and certification documentation for PCB modules for aircraft.
  • Test and troubleshoot avionics/electrical modules using electrical test equipment.
  • Model and simulate electronic circuits using SPICE software.
  • Design PCB layouts using Altium design software.
  • Modify and maintain programmable logic designs in FPGAs/CPLDs.
  • Prepare certification reports to document system designs meeting certification authorities' requirements.
  • Prepare functional test documents to verify proper operation of electronic assemblies.

Job Description
  • Assist with the development, design, testing and certification documentation for new or modified printed circuit board modules for aircraft
  • Apply electrical engineering theory and the operation of electronic test equipment to test and troubleshoot avionics / electrical modules or systems
  • Model and simulate electronic circuits using SPICE software
  • Design printed circuit board layouts using Altium design software
  • Modify and maintain programmable logic designs in FPGAs and CPLDs
  • Prepare engineering certification reports to document system designs that meet the requirements of certification authorities
  • Prepare functional test documents to verify proper operation of electronic assemblies
Skills/Experience
  • Proficient in analog and digital circuit design
  • Software programing experience with C programming language
  • Desired knowledge of control systems and embedded processor design
  • Design Experience with Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) and Verilog or VHDL
  • Familiarity with the application of aerospace standards (DO-254, DO-160, MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-704, MIL-STD-461) or similar industry standards.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Electronics Engineering or related field
Education
  • Bachelor s degree with a Major in Electrical Engineering.
  • Advanced degrees will be considered as additional experience.
  • Related degrees with relevant experience will be considered.
