Job summary

Emerald Resource Group is seeking an experienced EDI Integration Developer for a remote, US-based contract up to 10 months. You will build, monitor and support Axway B2Bi and Axway APIM integrations with trading partners and service providers.

Requirements include hands-on Axway B2Bi/APIM, EDI formats (X12, EDIFACT), XML/CSV, and scripting in Java or Python. Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Axway B2Bi and Axway APIM is required.
• Experience implementing or maintaining EDI and integration solutions in Axway.
• Knowledge of EDI formats (X12, EDIFACT), XML and flat files.
• Familiarity with 810/850/856 transaction sets and related API/web services.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain and support translation maps, programs, and integration points in Axway B2Bi and Axway APIM.

Job description

Location: This is a remote role. You can live anywhere in the US. Candidates must be located in the US, be a US Citizen and have a driver’s license.

Pay: Up to $80/hr. This will be a 6 to 10 month contract.

As an EDI Integration Developer, you will build, monitor and support the EDI and API connections that link the company with its trading partners, vendors and service providers, working primarily in Axway B2Bi and Axway APIM.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain and support translation maps, application programs, batch scripts and integration points in Axway B2Bi and Axway APIM.
• Configure, map and test EDI and integration transactions in Axway B2Bi and Axway APIM.
• Monitor the health of Axway B2Bi and Axway APIM environments and all EDI files, ensure timely receipt and transmission of data, and report incidents to management.
• Support trading partners, business users and IT staff by troubleshooting errors and implementing resolutions.
• Partner with network engineering, application development and database administration to keep EDI systems reliable and scalable.
• Research, recommend and implement enhancements that improve system performance and efficiency.
• Support trading partner onboarding, enrollment and ongoing relationship management.
• Document and model current and future state business workflows, and capture business requirements, rules and data needs.
• Build and maintain audits and controls for the daily transmission of EDI files.
• Develop user acceptance test plans and scripts, perform system and acceptance testing, and support change management.
• Participate in design and code reviews, and help maintain security policies and procedures.
• Create and maintain process documentation and training materials.
• Work with functional groups on project tasks, scope and timelines, and provide timely status reporting.

Required Qualifications

• Hands on experience with Axway B2Bi and Axway APIM (required).
• Experience supporting, implementing or maintaining EDI and integration solutions in Axway.
• Knowledge of X12, EDIFACT, XML, CSV and flat file formats.
• Working knowledge of 810, 850 and 856 transaction sets.
• Experience with Java, Python and scripting.
• Experience with FTP, SFTP, AS2, APIs and web services.
• Strong communication, collaboration, facilitation and problem solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

• Gentran Integration Suite or similar integration platforms, in addition to Axway.
• Associate level: 0 to 3 years of EDI and integration experience. Mid level: 3+ years.
• Direct experience with trading partners, vendors and third party service providers.
• Experience leading troubleshooting efforts, implementations or integration projects.
