Job summary

The Eaton Power Reliability Division in South Milwaukee, WI seeks an Electronic Controls Project Leader to drive cross-functional teams from concept through launch of advanced electronic controls, relay, and switchgear products. This full-time role offers a hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote) and significant visibility across software, firmware, hardware, testing, and manufacturing functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 2 years of engineering experience in project leadership or product development.
• Experience with PM methodologies, processes, and tools.
• Knowledge of embedded systems, RTOS, and multi-core processors.
• Experience leading cross-functional and global teams in new product development.

Responsibilities

• Lead medium- to large-scale NPI and VAVE projects from concept through launch.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk.
• Partner with product owners and development teams to define requirements and deliver solutions that meet customer and business needs.
• Drive collaboration across software, firmware, hardware, testing, and manufacturing teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain project plans, monitor progress, and communicate project status to key stakeholders.
• Ensure consistent use of project management best practices, metrics, and reporting.
• Provide regular updates on project health, milestones, risks, and mitigation plans to business and divisional leadership.
