Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking an Electronic Assembly Technician 3 in Camden, NJ. The role involves reading test procedures and schematics to test circuit card and module assemblies, troubleshoot digital, analog, and RF electronics, and perform mechanical assembly with drawings and flow processes.

Essential tasks include assembling complex systems, testing and troubleshooting electronic assemblies, and self-inspection with IPC-610/J Standard 001 knowledge.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
• 2+ years of formal electronic technology training
• Ability to interpret complex assembly drawings, electrical diagrams, and process flows/standards.
• Experience in troubleshooting electronic circuits to the component level, using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, meters, frequency generators, logic analyzers, spectrum and network analyzers
• In-depth knowledge of IPC-610 and/or J Standard 001.

Responsibilities

• Extensive experience in electronic assembly, hand soldering and self-inspection.
• In-depth knowledge of IPC-610 and/or J Standard 001.
