Job summary

Aerotech in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking an assembler for electronic components to join our precision motion and automation teams. You will assemble parts or circuit boards, position and secure boards to subassemblies, and read assembly drawings to ensure accuracy.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret operating and maintenance instructions.
• Vocational or technical school training is helpful but not required.
• Experience with hand tools, crimpers, and hand soldering is required.
• Printed Circuit Board (PCB) experience is preferred but not required.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts or circuit boards and position, align, and fasten circuit boards to assemblies, subassemblies, or frames, using hand tools and power tools.
• Read and interpret assembly drawings.
• Perform soldering of circuit board components and wiring.
• Repair and/or replace defective parts rejected by test personnel.
• Route and attach wires and connectors to electronic circuitry and/or subassemblies
