Qualifications

  • 2–3 years electronics assembly, PCB/PWA, or soldering experience preferred.
  • IPC-610 certification or working knowledge is a plus.
  • Ability to read blueprints, BOMs, and design drawings.

Pay: Up to $19.50 per hourJob description:Electronics Assembler – PCB / SolderingPay: $19.50/hourShift: 1st Shift – Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:00 PMSchedule: Full-Time; some weekend work may be requiredExperience: 2–3 years preferredPosition OverviewWe are seeking an Electronics Assembler with hands-on experience assembling and soldering printed circuit boards (PCBs/PWAs).This position is responsible for assembling, inspecting, testing, and troubleshooting electronic and mechanical components. The ideal candidate has strong soldering skills, can read blueprints/design drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs), and is comfortable performing detailed work under a microscope for extended periods.Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble electronic and mechanical components according to drawings and work instructionsPerform PCB/PWA assembly and solderingIdentify electronic components and verify correct component placementRead and interpret blueprints, design drawings, specifications, and Bills of Materials (BOMs)Perform detailed soldering and reworkInspect solder joints and identify soldering defectsUse a microscope for detailed assembly and inspection for extended periodsTest completed products and assembliesTroubleshoot and resolve basic assembly and testing issuesSelect and properly use hand tools, fixtures, and assembly equipmentMeasure components and verify dimensions and tolerancesComplete labor and production records accuratelyEnter and retrieve information using computer systemsFollow established quality standards and manufacturing proceduresParticipate in continuous improvement initiativesMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED2–3 years of electronics assembly, PCB/PWA, or soldering experience preferredIPC-A-610 certification or working knowledgeHands-on experience soldering printed circuit boardsAbility to identify electronic componentsAbility to read blueprints, design drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs)Understanding of manufacturing and quality standardsAbility to recognize solder defects and workmanship issuesStrong fine motor skills and attention to detailComfortable using a microscope for extended periodsBasic computer skillsAbility to follow detailed work instructions and standard proceduresEnglish proficiency requiredPreferred BackgroundsCandidates with previous experience as an Electronics Assembler, PCB Assembler, Circuit Board Assembler, PWA Assembler, Soldering Technician, Electronic Technician, or Electronic Manufacturing Technician are strongly encouraged to apply.Experience with electronic testing, troubleshooting, rework, quality inspection, and IPC standards is a plus.Compensation & SchedulePay: $19.50/hour1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:00 PMSome weekend work may be required as needed.Education:High school or equivalent (Required)Experience:electronics assembly and PCB/PWA, or soldering: 2 years (Preferred)License/Certification:IPC-610 Certification (Preferred)
