Microwave Products Group - Pole/Zero Corporation in West Chester, OH is seeking an Electronics Assembler to support the installation of PC boards, modules and harnesses into chassis. Responsibilities include reading drawings, soldering, installing PWBs, and assisting with QA testing.

You will work in a team-oriented environment with opportunities for IPC-610 certification and growth within a defense-oriented manufacturing setting. Competitive benefits and 401(k) options are included.

Competenze

• Must have 3+ years soldering and mechanical assembly experience.

Mansioni

• Verify kits using drawings, parts lists, and ECNs.
• Assemble and install PWBs into chassis per drawings and ECNs.
• Solder components and shields per IPC regs.
• Hand clean solder joints to remove flux residue.
• Install connectors and cables to modules.
• Assist in hardware verification with technicians.
• Follow work instructions from routers or intranet.
• Assist with troubleshooting and retesting as needed.

As an Electronics Assembler at Microwave Products Group - Pole/Zero Corporation in West Chester, OH, you will support the military community by helping with the installation of PC boards, modules and harnesses into the chassis.

Primary Responsibilities:

• * Verify kits using latest drawings, parts lists and any unincorporated ECN's.
• * Assemble and install PWBs into chassis using the latest drawing, parts lists and any pending ECN's.
• * Solder specified components and shields per IPC regulations.
• * Hand clean solder joints for flux residue.
• * Install specified connectors and attach specified cables to the module.
• * Aid in the verification of the hardware installed by a co-worker.
• * Read and follow work instructions contained in either IFS's routers or the manufacturing intranet homepage.
• * Aid with the troubleshooting of a unit that is completed by the technician by disassembling units or modules for retest, root cause analysis and reassembly.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• * Good mechanical skills.
• * High level of solder skill needed.
• * High level of attention to detail.
• * Ability to read drawings and blueprints.
• * Ability to pass and obtain an IPC-610 certification.
• * Understanding of torque requirements and proper use of torque tools.
• * Ability to understand the use and need for hand tools needed in each assembly step.
• * Good PC based skills and ability to maneuver through ERP system for workflow purposes.
• * Ability to interface effectively with internal customers.
• * Ability to work closely with all levels of the organization.

Requirements Include:

• * Must be a US person (US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder)
• * High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• * 3+ years soldering/mechanical assembly experience is required.
• * Prior experience in a defense industry is preferred.* IPC knowledge is a plus.
