Job summary

BK Technologies Inc. is seeking an assembler at our Florida facility to perform hands-on assembly, use hand tools and solder irons to attach boards and shields, and prepare wires as directed by the lead or supervisor.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to work under pressure, and teamwork to maintain quality workmanship and meet production schedules. Prior SMD soldering experience is preferred, with adherence to safety and process standards.

  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble by hand and solder components and shields per lead instructions.
  • Inspect and touch up own work and maintain workmanship standards.
  • Perform SMD soldering to 805-package level and ICs to 50-mil pitch.
  • Maintain good attendance and teamwork.

Description
Position Summary:

Work at assembler station, using hand tools and solder irons, soldering parts and shields, mechanical assembly and wire prep as directed by Lead or Supervisor.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Must demonstrate the ability to inspect and touch up their own work.
  • Must have good attendance.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to do Board Assembly Touch Up.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to do SMD soldering to an 805-package level as well as IC’s to a 50-mil pitch.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to make rate and meet current specified workmanship standards within two (2) days.
  • Good teamwork skills.
  • Ability to understand and follow work processes.
