Job summary

Rantec Power Systems, Inc. is seeking an Electronic Assembler for its Layton, Utah facility. The role involves performing a variety of power supply assembly tasks, reading drawings, and maintaining quality standards to support production goals.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3 years' experience preferred in electronics manufacturing.
• Follow detailed assembly drawings and BOMs.
• Computer skills to support timekeeping and ERP data.
• Manual dexterity to operate hand tools.
• Ability to maintain productivity in standard hours.
• Able to read assembly instructions and tolerance notes.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow assembly drawings and work orders.
• Maintain conformance and logs for equipment usage.
• Maintain IPC J-STD-001 soldering certification.
• Perform sub-assembly and hand soldering tasks.
• Identify and select components by color codes.
• Use torque tools and verify torque values.
• Support training of other assemblers.
• Ensure clean and safe work areas.
• Adhere to OSHA, EPA, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work flexible hours/different shifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
