Job summary

Captor Corporation is seeking an electronics assembler for first shift in Tipp City, Ohio. You will solder and assemble electronics and hardware for aerospace applications in a temperature-controlled environment, following build documentation and training.

Expect to verify parts with calipers and height gauges, read technical drawings, and ensure clean, safe, and high-quality assemblies. Requires high school education, good hand-eye coordination, and the ability to interpret safety rules,

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent experience.
• Good hand/eye coordination; able to work with small parts and assemblies.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, technical drawings, and procedure manuals.
• Computer literacy.
• Flexible to changing work assignments.
• Communicates effectively with management and team members.

Responsibilities

• Work with your hands to solder and assemble electronics and hardware.

• Accurately assemble materials with quality and on time.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams, specifications, work orders, or instructions.
• Adhere to all product and process documentation.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Ensure proper safety and housekeeping standards.
• Inspect wiring installations, assemblies, and circuits.
• Work with Quality team to resolve issues in a timely fashion.
• Other duties assigned.

Job Details:

• Shift: 1st
• Primary Hours: 7:00am - 3:30pm
• Salary Range: $20.00 - $35.00 an hour
• Brief Description: Come build a career at Captor Corporation. Assemble military and aerospace electronics in a friendly and temperature-controlled environment. This position is responsible for the successful assembly of Captor's products as defined by Captor's build documentation, process specifications, and training (both classroom and on-the-job).

• Able to analyze problems, recommend solutions and may make suggestions on process improvements
• May direct the work of others or be utilized as a Subject Matter Expert
• Works under limited supervision with ability to perform work independently
