Responsibilities
- Assemble complex electrical assemblies, cable harnesses, and electromechanical assemblies in accordance with engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, work instructions, schematics, and aerospace standards.
- Perform precision wire routing, crimping, soldering, harness fabrication, cable assembly, connector installation, and component integration with ability to troubleshoot and recommend process improvements.
- Interpret and work from Bills of Material (BOMs), Assembly travelers, Process specifications, and Manufacturing instructions.
- Perform soldering and inspection activities in compliance with IPC-J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 requirements.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, calibrated measuring devices, and electrical test equipment including multimeters, continuity testers, hipot testers, and torque tools.
- Conduct in-process inspections and verify product conformity to quality standards and customer requirements.
- Identify, document, and escalade nonconforming material or process deviations in accordance with AS9100/ISO 9001 procedures.
- Support or lead root cause and corrective action activities related to quality or production issues.
- Maintain accurate production records, traceability documentation, and labor reporting within ERP/MES systems.
- Support or lead Lean Manufacturing, 5S, continuous improvement, and error-proofing initiatives.
- Operate and support automated or semi-automated assembly equipment including wire processing equipment, automated crimping systems, labeling systems, test stations, cable/harness assembly automation equipment such as braiding machines and layout boards.
- Assist Manufacturing Engineering with process validation, first article activities, tooling improvements, and workflow optimization.
- Train and mentor Electrical Assemblers Level I and II on workmanship standards, processes, and best practices.
- Maintain compliance with ESD, FOD, safety, and clean manufacturing requirements.
- Work collaboratively with Quality, Engineering, Planning, and Production leadership to meet schedule and delivery commitments.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Education Requirements
- Must have 5-7 years’ experience.
- IPC-610 Certification: The Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies.
- IPC-620 Certification: Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies certifications or equivalent required.
- J-STD-001 Certification: Soldered Electrical & Electronic Assemblies.

Salary: $31-38/Hr
