Location: State College, PA
Pay Rate: $17.00 – $22.00 per hour
Schedule:Monday – Friday | 7 AM – 3 PM

Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Technical training in electronics, manufacturing, or assembly is a plus.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with manufacturing systems preferred.

Experience Requirements

  • Entry-level position; less than 1 year of manufacturing, production, or assembly experience required.
  • Experience with hand soldering, cable assembly, electronic assembly, or microscope work preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, diagrams, and work orders.
  • Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and commitment to quality standards.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Physical Capabilities

  • Ability to sit for extended periods while performing detailed assembly work.
  • Ability to work under a microscope for prolonged periods.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills for soldering and precision assembly.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed to support production schedules.

Job Duties

  • Assemble electronic components, cables, transducers, sensors, and Eddy Current or Ultrasonic inspection products according to established procedures.
  • Perform hand soldering, bonding processes, cable fabrication, component preparation, and final assembly operations.
  • Conduct limited product testing and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Read and follow drawings, specifications, work orders, manufacturing procedures, and verbal instructions.
  • Accurately record labor time and production activities within the MRP system.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including adherence to 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Meet production schedules, quality expectations, and standard operation times.
  • Assist with equipment, tool, and fixture maintenance as required.
  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and attendance requirements while contributing positively to a team-oriented manufacturing environment.

What You Will Do

As a Electronic Assembler you will assemble products, components, or equipment using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and assembly instructions. You will inspect completed assemblies, verify measurements, identify quality concerns, maintain organized work areas, and support production goals while following established manufacturing procedures and workplace safety standards.

The Electronic Assembler supports manufacturing by assembling products according to engineering specifications and production requirements. This role requires mechanical aptitude, strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow detailed work instructions.
