Job summary

Virginia Commonwealth University Health Systems seeks an Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist TTWP to perform routine electroneurodiagnostic procedures in the clinical lab, inpatient and epilepsy units. The role covers EEG, AEEG, EMU and specialty tests including Polysomnogram, Wada testing and intraoperative monitoring.

Qualified candidates hold at least one ABRET registry and CPR certification. The position may require weekend and holiday coverage for the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit and STAT EEG

Qualifications

• Requires ABRET registry in at least one electroneurodiagnostic field.
• Current CPR certification required for continued employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine electroneurodiagnostic procedures in clinical lab, inpatient and epilepsy unit.
• Serve as technical resource for Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist I.
• Support EEG, AEEG, EMU, Polysomnogram, Wada testing, EP, NCV procedures including intraoperative monitoring.
