Virginia Commonwealth University Health Systems seeks an Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist TTWP to perform routine electroneurodiagnostic procedures in the clinical lab, inpatient and epilepsy units. The role covers EEG, AEEG, EMU and specialty tests including Polysomnogram, Wada testing and intraoperative monitoring.
Qualified candidates hold at least one ABRET registry and CPR certification. The position may require weekend and holiday coverage for the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit and STAT EEG
The Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist TTWP job performs routine electroneurodiagnostic procedures using established protocols and procedures in a clinical lab, inpatient and epilepsy unit setting including EEG, AEEG, and EMU. The specialty procedures performed are Polysomnogram, Wada Testing, EP, NCV testing, as well as intraoperative monitoring of EEG, EP, EMG and NCV procedures. This position also serves as the technical resource for the Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist I.
American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoke Potential Technologist (ABRET) registry in at least one (1) AMA approved electroneurodiagnostic field
Current ABRET, AAET or AANEM registry in one (1) AMA approved electroneurodiagnostic field Current CPR certification
High School Diploma or equivalent
Graduate of Electroneurodiagnostic Program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Program

Additional position requirements: Weekends and holiday coverage for the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit and STAT EEG procedures.
