Job summary

Prime Healthcare is seeking an Electroneurodiagnostic (END) Technologist for per diem coverage at Olympia Fields Hospital in Olympia Fields, IL. The role involves performing EEG analysis, EP, NCS, LTM/ICU monitoring, and intraoperative monitoring for patients of all ages.

The technician will document results, provide reports to ordering providers, and support CQI initiatives. A high school diploma, BLS, ABRET EEG T, and preferred NCS/EPT credentials are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification from a recognized provider upon hire.
• R EEG T certification from ABRET required upon hire and maintained.
• R EPT preferred; R NCST preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts and analyzes EEG, and performs EP, NCS, LTM/ICU, or IOM.
• Documents results and reports findings to ordering providers.
• Performs clerical duties and participates in CQI activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education

Overview

Department: OFIL SURGERY - NEUROLOGY Shift: Per Diem; Variable Facility: Olympia Fields Hospital Location: 3800 203rd St Olympia Fields, IL 60461 Compensation Rate: $36.99/hr.

Responsibilities

AnElectroneurodiagnostic(END)Technologistconducts & analyzes electroencephalography (EEG), & performs Evoked Potentials (EP), Nerve Conductions (NCS), Long-Term Monitoring (LTM)/Intensive Care Monitoring (ICU), or Intraoperative Neurophysiological Monitoring (IOM) on in & outpatients of all ages. Results are documented & reports on findings to designated ordering providers. Performs clerical duties. Participates in performance improvement & continuous quality (CQI) improvement activities. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certified from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) upon hire and maintain current.
• Registered Electroencephalogram Technologist (R. EEG T) from the American Board of Registered Electroencephalographic Technologies (ABRET) Neurodiagnostic Credentialing & Accreditation upon hire and maintained current.
• Registered Evoked Potential Technologist (R. EPT.) from ARBET preferred.
• Registered Nerve Conduction Study Technologist (R. NCST.) preferred.
• Associate degree in Electro neurodiagnostic technology from a school accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs preferred.

Pay Transparency

Olympia Fields Hospital offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $36.99. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
