Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist to join our team. In this role, you will perform EEGs, long-term video monitoring, Evoked Potentials, or Polysomnography according to facility policies. You will ensure patient safety during procedures, provide findings and analysis, and communicate effectively with team members. The senior technologist performs procedures within their competence and credentials under general supervision.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Provide high-quality, patient-centered neurodiagnostic testing.
  2. Perform routine and complex neurodiagnostic procedures following ABRET/ACNS guidelines, ASET competencies, and/or BRPT/AAST standards.
  3. Apply electrodes adhering to the International 10–20 System.
  4. Maintain patient safety through clear communication.
  5. Recognize waveforms at basic, intermediate, and advanced levels; understand relevant medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, infection control, and current HIPAA practices.
  6. Assess patients regarding electrode allergies, movement restrictions, and cognitive status.
  7. Assist in training and evaluating other END technologists.
  8. Document procedures and assist with billing processes.
  9. Perform additional duties as required.

All candidates will be required to undergo respiratory fit testing to ensure a safe workplace environment.

Skills & Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • One of the following certifications:
    • CNIM - Certified Neurophysiological Intraoperative Monitor
    • REEGT - Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist
    • RPSGT - Registered Polysomnographic Technologist
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in Electroneurodiagnostic Technology, including clinical rotations. A graduation from an Electroneurodiagnostic Technology program can substitute for two years of experience.
