Qualifications

• 3+ years building production desktop apps with Electron.js.
• Strong JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js proficiency.
• Experience designing cross-platform macOS and Windows systems with consistent behavior.
• Hands-on experience with real-time tracking or activity-monitoring systems.
• Familiarity with OS-level APIs for capturing user and system interactions.
• Deep understanding of desktop performance optimization and debugging in distributed/offline systems.

Responsibilities

• Architect and evolve an Electron.js desktop agent with strong performance and a minimal resource footprint.
• Build real-time timekeeping capabilities with precise event tracking and background execution.
• Implement efficient, privacy-conscious collection of system signals including keyboard, mouse, and application usage.
• Develop offline-first data pipelines with synchronized background processing and conflict resolution.
• Integrate distributed backend services and internal APIs for analytics and reporting.
• Improve runtime performance, memory efficiency, and fault tolerance.
• Partner with product, design, and backend teams to deliver features that boost user productivity.
