Job summary

Primary Talent Partners is seeking an Engineering Technician I for a 12-month contract in Round Lake, IL, onsite only. The role focuses on electrical, mechanical, and environmental testing of electromechanical medical devices, including test stand set-up and data collection.

Compensation is $20.00–$23.53 per hour on a W2 basis with no PTO or benefits; ACA-supplemental package available. Candidates must be US work authorized and sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; AA degree preferred.
• 6+ years in testing, lab, or related experience.
• Experience with electromechanical systems and test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Test products in the Reliability Test Lab per engineering requirements.
• Record data, communicate results, and maintain documentation.
• Set up equipment, perform tests, and verify environmental requirements.
