Job summary

Sanmina Corporation in Fremont, CA is seeking an electromechanical test manufacturing engineer to develop, execute, troubleshoot and debug tests for state-of-the-art assemblies in a Class 1K cleanroom. The role supports on-going manufacturing and test of electromechanical assemblies and mentors test technicians.

You will create test plans, ensure cleanliness specs, collaborate with customers on cleanliness strategies, participate in PFMEA, test architecture, and drive test results documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 2+ years electromechanical manufacturing test engineering experience.
• Experience with vacuum chamber tests (RGA and leak tests).
• Strong knowledge of electronic systems, software and components.
• Experience in test fixture design and debugging.

Responsibilities

• Develop test plans and document test procedures for new product introduction.
• Ensure cleanliness specs are met in the cleanroom environment.
• Collaborate with customers on cleanliness strategies for new products.
• Participate in PFMEA and test architecture discussions.
• Perform test execution, train engineers and technicians, monitor results.
