Job summary

Responsibilities

• Ensure the diagnosis, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment in the production facilities.
• Perform planned preventive maintenance tasks: lubrication, wear parts replacement, inspection, and tightening of connections.
• Intervene quickly in case of breakdowns, identify issues, and restore systems promptly.
• Verify correct reassembly and operation of repaired sub-assemblies per technical documents.
• Complete intervention reports and maintain documentary follow-up of operations.

Join Desobry as an Electromechanical Technician and ensure the smooth operation of our production facilities at our Tournai site.

You will play an essential role in the continuity of our production lines by intervening on mechanical and electrical aspects, in strict compliance with the hygiene, food safety, and quality standards specific to our sector.

Role & Responsibilities

• Ensure the diagnosis, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment in the production facilities. Perform planned preventive maintenance tasks: lubrication, replacement of wear parts, inspection, and tightening of connections.
• Intervene quickly in the event of a breakdown, identify the source of the problem, and restore systems to working order as soon as possible.
• Verify the correct reassembly and operation of repaired or replaced sub-assemblies, in accordance with technical documents.
• Complete intervention reports and ensure the documentary follow-up of operations performed.
• Rigorously apply hygiene and food safety rules (HACCP, GHP, GMP) during each intervention.
• Report any anomalies or risky situations and contribute to continuous improvement actions.

Profile & Required Skills

• Technical training in electromechanics or equivalent through experience.
• Proven experience in industrial maintenance, ideally in the food industry.
• Solid mastery of electromechanical equipment and the ability to read electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic diagrams.
• Rigor, autonomy, and responsiveness to unforeseen events.
• Good team spirit and ease in communicating with production teams.
• Knowledge of HACCP / GHP / GMP rules is an asset.
