Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company is seeking an Electromechanical Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production and facility equipment across high-speed beverage operations. This role requires strong electrical and mechanical expertise, PLC troubleshooting, and CMMS documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical degree or certification in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Maintenance preferred.
• 2–5 years of electro-mechanical maintenance experience in manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair processing equipment including fillers, cappers, labelers, conveyors, palletizers, and packaging machinery.
• Diagnose and repair electrical systems (motors, VFDs, sensors, relays) and mechanical systems (gearboxes, pumps, bearings, belts, chains).
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life; conduct failure analysis and root cause investigations.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals.
• Perform advanced PLC troubleshooting, including I/O diagnostics and fault analysis.
• Install, test, and commission new or modified equipment with existing control systems; validation of operation.
• Support system integration, retrofits and process improvements; train technicians.
• Maintain maintenance records using CMMS.
• Follow safety, food safety, and quality standards (LOTO, GMPs, HACCP).
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Quality to improve reliability and performance.
