Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company is seeking an Electromechanical Technician for the 2nd shift in OLATHE, KS. You will maintain high‑speed beverage production equipment and develop skills in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and control systems.

This role requires 2–5 years electro‑mechanical maintenance experience, a technical degree or certification, and the ability to read schematics and troubleshoot PLCs. Shift is 2:00pm–10:30pm with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical degree or certification in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or Industrial Maintenance preferred.
• 2–5 years electro-mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing/industrial setting.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair processing equipment including fillers, cappers, labelers, conveyors, and packaging machinery.
• Diagnose electrical systems (motors, VFDs, sensors) and mechanical systems (gearboxes, pumps) with fault isolation.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, mechanical drawings, and manuals.
• Install, test, and commission new or modified equipment with integration to control systems.
• Maintain CMMS records and support process improvements.
• Collaborate with Operations and Engineering to improve reliability and performance.
