Job summary

JuggerBot 3D in Youngstown, OH is seeking an Electromechanical Technician to assemble, install, troubleshoot, and service advanced automation equipment used in additive manufacturing.

This hands-on role requires reading schematics, wiring panels, and collaborating with engineering to improve designs. The position offers a $45,000–$60,000 salary, health/dental/vision coverage, PTO, 401(k) matching, and travel up to 30%.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronics, Engineering Technology, or related field OR equivalent manufacturing/electro‑mechanical experience.
• Experience with electrical wiring, machine assembly, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of robotics, servo systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, or CNC controls preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Forklift or electrical certifications are a plus.
• Ability to travel 30%+.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire custom automation equipment and production systems from mechanical drawings and assembly instructions.
• Install and wire electrical panels, motors, sensors, pneumatic devices, and other machine components.
• Route, terminate, and test electrical wiring to company and industry standards.
• Install and connect pneumatic and hydraulic components.
• Support machine startup, debugging, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Collaborate with engineering to implement design improvements and continuous process enhancements.
• Maintain accurate production, maintenance, and service documentation.
• Perform installation, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of additive manufacturing equipment at customer sites.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and complete onsite repairs.
• Manage service inventory and maintain required parts and supplies.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and meets company quality standards.
