My Company in Woburn, MA is seeking an Electromechanical Technician to support client robotics and automation systems. This temporary-to-hire role requires hands-on electromechanical work, building and assembling parts, and occasional driving around Woburn.
You will troubleshoot, service, and maintain robotic systems, use Linux commands, and coordinate with client technicians. The position involves standing for long periods and occasional lifting, with Mon-Fri 8 AM to 5 PM schedule.

Electromechanical Technician
Location: Woburn, MA 01801
Duration: 3 months (temp to hire)
Shift timings: Mon-Fri, 8 AM - 5 PM
Some driving around Woburn will be required
Working with a team of technicians (client team) to troubleshoot and perform service and preventive maintenance on the customers' robot that they have developed. You will use your hands and regular use of a computer to perform these tasks. It can be a physical job some days. You may also assist in building and assembling parts to keep the robot operational.
Having hands-on electromechanical experience is a must. Maybe auto technician experience (computer use). If they have robotics experience would be great. Having familiarity with Linux is a plus but not needed. Knowledge of troubleshooting and diagnostics of electromechanical systems.
You could be standing extended periods of time. Also, may be required to push, pull and lift objects. Most of the time using carts or pallet jacks.
Responsibilities:
Degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Robotics, Mechanical or Electronics fields.
Candidates must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
