Westlake Pipe & Fittings is seeking an experienced electrical technician to diagnose and repair electrical and electronic equipment on a rotating shift in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role requires PLC programming experience, the ability to read drawings, and troubleshooting to the component level, with emphasis on safety and reliability.
Ideal candidates will have formal electronics training, at least five years of experience, and a willingness to work overtime.

Responsible for all electrical diagnosis and repair on given shift to include the maintenance, service, and repair of electrical and electronic equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ideal candidate will have experience in PLC programming using ladder logic and troubleshooting electrical/electronic circuits to the component level. Ability to make repairs to systems, read drawings and schematics, utilize a variety of test equipment and work with low voltages. Must have the ability to work self-guided and be able to prioritize jobs. Position requires good communication skills to adequately relay the state of equipment and estimated repair time to others.
Formal technical training in electronics with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the craft. Robotics background preferred. Associates degree in electronic field or Journeyman’s card preferred. Position requires a valid Kansas Class C driver’s license.

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
