Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Project Engineer in Chelmsford, MA to drive electromechanical product projects from kickoff to production. You will serve as a key liaison among customers, engineering, manufacturing, and operations to ensure on-time delivery and technical compliance.

The role requires a 2+ year track record in engineering or project engineering, a mechanical or electrical engineering degree, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of engineering or project engineering experience.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with electromechanical products, aerospace, defense, or industrial equipment is a plus.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and engineering documentation is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering projects from kickoff through production
• Coordinate activities between engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams
• Track project schedules, milestones, and deliverables
• Review technical requirements and customer specifications
• Support design reviews, testing activities, and product releases
• Communicate project status and risks to internal stakeholders
• Assist with process improvements and product development initiatives
