Job summary

HL Mando is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead PCBA design and electromechanical integration, taking boards from fabrication through system assembly. You will own the technical roadmap and manage a team across design, DFA/DFM, testing, and supplier engagement.

The role requires extensive leadership, IPC/A-610 and J-STD-001 experience, and proven ability to drive NPI to production ramp in a high-rel environment. On-site presence in Auburn Hills, MI is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive PCBA design, electromechanical assembly, or electronics integration experience.
• 3+ years of direct people management experience.
• Experience with IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620, and J-STD-001 standards; supplier management.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers and technicians responsible for PCBA design and mechanical integration of boards into products.
• Own technical roadmap for PCBA design, manufacturing processes, tooling, and integration methods; allocate resources across programs.
• Partner with Program Management to establish schedules for NPI, pilot runs, and production ramp; manage budgets.
