Job summary

Tripp Electric Motors in Belle Glade, FL is seeking a Motor Rewind Technician to rewind, repair, and test electromechanical equipment, including single-phase and three-phase motors, DC fields, armatures, and transformers, following EASA standards.

You will work in a busy shop serving agricultural and municipal customers across Florida, perform inspections, rewinds, and tests, and document results while adhering to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and safety procedures.
• Attention to detail and patience for precision rewind and repair work.
• Experience in electric motor rewind or related trade is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose electromechanical equipment for damage and electrical faults.
• Dismantle, strip, and prepare reusable parts for rewinding; inspect for hidden damage.
• Rewind various equipment including motors, DC fields, armatures, wound rotors, and transformers.
• Test rewound equipment per EASA standards and document test results; ensure proper insulating techniques.
