Job summary

The Marvin Group, a defense contractor based in Southern California, seeks an experienced electrical/mechanical manufacturing engineer to lead electromechanical assemblies. You will read schematics, troubleshoot analog/digital circuits, and drive manufacturing planning and BOM creation for complex airborne and ground equipment.

Minimum 5 years in electromechanical manufacturing, a bachelor’s in electrical engineering, and strong problem-solving skills are required.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in manufacturing and testing of electromechanical assemblies.
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
Ability to read electrical schematics and GD&T.

Responsibilities

Support production of electromechanical/electronic equipment and ensure builds per specifications.
Test and troubleshoot analog and digital electronics down to component level.
Review test requirements and write test plans, procedures and reports.
Establish methods of test and equipment required to accomplish them.
Document test results and test progress reports.
Perform failure analysis and write corrective action reports.
Assess assembly and test processes, perform time studies and suggest lean improvements.
Create manufacturing planning and BOM from customer engineering requirements and liaise with manufacturing.
