Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance Technician

They tackle a variety of challenges, from installing and maintaining equipment to troubleshooting complex problems and executing preventive maintenance plans. Weekly Schedule: On our weekend shift, you will only work 3 days: Friday, Saturday, Sunday on our 12 hour shift.

Position Specifics:

• Location: Charter Aarrowcast: 2900 E Richmond St, Shawano, WI 54166
• Shift: Weekend only: Work Friday, Saturday, & Sunday. Nights and day shift available. 12 hour shifts 7pm - 7am or 7am-7pm
  
  

What You Will Do

As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll help keep the plant running smoothly by installing, maintaining, and repairing electromechanical systems. You’ll work under the Maintenance Supervisor and follow safety and quality standards to reduce downtime and boost productivity.

• Maintenance & Repairs:
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment
• Troubleshoot and fix mechanical and electrical issues
• Work with hydraulic systems
• Inventory & Safety:
• Keep track of parts and tools
• Check that parts meet required specs
• Make sure all equipment is safe to use
• Documentation & Cleanliness:
• Fill out maintenance records and reports
• Keep your work area clean
• Follow safety, environmental, and quality procedures
• Teamwork & Improvement:
• Help train new technicians
• Join teams to improve processes and reduce costs

Weekly plant shutdown begins Fridays at 6:00 AM and ends Mondays at 6:00 AM.

What you'll need:

Education & Experience

• Technical degree in a related field, a journeyman’s card, or 5+ years of experience in industrial electrical/mechanical maintenance
  
  

Technical Skills

• Read and interpret technical documents
• Use electrical/mechanical testing and precision measuring tools
• Operate hand and power tools
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Experience with welding and torch equipment
  
  

Communication

• Clear, effective communication with a focus on teamwork and customer service
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Allen Bradley or Siemens PLCs and Drives
• Skilled in AC/DC motor maintenance, hydraulics, and pneumatics
• Industry certifications are a plus
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Frequently stand and walk; occasionally sit, bend, and lift up to 60 lbs
• Able to meet physical demands with or without reasonable accommodation
• Clear, effective communication with a focus on teamwork and customer service
