Job summary

North American Stainless is seeking a Maintenance Technician to provide electrical, electronic, and automation maintenance across the plant. The role focuses on breakdowns, scheduled downtime, preventive and corrective maintenance, and advanced troubleshooting of complex automation systems.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
• Two year industrial experience and or/technical degree or a field relating to Industrial Automation.

Responsibilities

• Performs inspections and coordinates with operations on maintenance issues.
• Keeps an up-to-date list of maintenance issues in assigned areas.
• Coordinates with Mechanical Maintenance team and contractors to schedule and complete work based on urgency.
• Assists with projects and upgrades in assigned areas, including interaction with equipment manufacturers.
• Ensures spare parts are stocked for assigned areas and coordinated with vendors.
• Completes maintenance work orders on downtime or while machines run and reports results.
