Job summary

Dicastal North America is seeking a maintenance technician to troubleshoot and repair complex equipment and assist in machine installations and upgrades. The role involves interpreting PLC ladder logic, improving processes, and supporting predictive maintenance programs.

The candidate will participate in retrofit, rebuild, and automation projects, with emphasis on safety, documentation, and teamwork in a factory setting.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years formal education in industrial/electrical maintenance or 2–5 years relevant work experience.
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions in English.
• Must be proficient in mechanical and electrical, machine controls, hydraulics, pneumatics/vacuum.
• Familiar with current machinery/control technologies; able to design/build/test machinery and control systems.
• Proficient computer literacy and documentation for service activities.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and repair of equipment; assist with installations and upgrades.
• Read/interpret relay and PLC ladder logic; assist in PM and Pd.M. implementation.
• Support preventative maintenance programs and machine building projects.
• Assist in retrofit, rebuild, upgrade, automation, and building projects; document services.
