Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a seasoned engineer to lead the development of mechanical and electromechanical systems for high‑volume industrial processes in Georgia. You will architect, implement, and sustain solutions that improve uptime, quality, and throughput while collaborating with planning, design, suppliers, and shop floor teams.

You will direct fabrication and installation activities, ensure installations meet design specs, and guide teams across machines, hardware, and software

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Must have manufacturing experience.
• Requires at least 2 years of management experience directing machinists.

Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and sustain mechanical and electromechanical systems for industrial processes.
• Direct fabrication and installation activities to match engineering designs and specs.
• Bridge planning, design, vendors, and shop floor to ensure robust system integration across machines, hardware, and software.
• Coordinate operations, maintenance, and repair activities to maximize utilization of equipment.
• Provide guidance on design modifications to eliminate malfunctions identified during installations.

You’ll bridge planning, design, vendors, and the shop floor to ensure every installation meets spec and every system integrates cleanly across machines, hardware, and software.Key outcomesInstallations match engineering design and specifications through hands-on direction of fabrication and installation activities.Equipment and tooling decisions—made with planning/design partners—enable efficient, scalable processes.Vendors provide the right equipment, materials, and parts; selections are evaluated against specifications and quality standards.Feasibility is validated via research and analysis of design proposals, specs, and manuals before projects proceed.Statistical methods inform projections of equipment capability for upcoming mold repair requirements.Products/systems are designed across instruments, controls, robots, engines, machines, and mechanical/thermal/hydraulic/heat-transfer systems.Engineering teams are guided in fabricating control apparatus and developing repeatable methods and procedures.Operations, maintenance, and repair activities are coordinated to maximize utilization of machines and equipment.Interfaces between machines, hardware, and software are engineered for robust system integration.Design modifications are recommended to eliminate malfunctions identified during installation evaluations.QualificationsMust have an Engineering Degree.Must have Manufacturing Experience.Must have 2+ management experience to direct a group of machinists.You should be proficient in: Bachelor’s Degree.Other duties may be assigned.
