Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or Computer Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • 3+ years designing electronic hardware from concept to production.
  • 3+ years experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools (Altium, OrCAD/Cadence, KiCad).
  • 3+ years experience with analog, digital and/or power circuit design and hardware bring-up using lab instrumentation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of next-generation electromechanical systems for cable preparation and installation platforms.
  • Design analog, digital and mixed-signal circuits, including sensor signal conditioning and data-acquisition front ends.
  • Design power electronics and power-distribution circuits, including motor-drive, DC-DC and protection circuitry.
  • Integrate embedded processors/microcontrollers, connectivity and industrial I/O (e.g., EtherCAT) into board-level designs.
  • Select and specify electronic components, balancing performance, cost, availability, and manufacturability.
  • Build, bring up and debug prototypes using lab instrumentation, iterating toward field-ready hardware.
