Job summary

DOC Services Inc. is hiring a Field Service Maintenance Technician (Floater) to service and repair paint shakers, tinters, mobility carts and other light industrial equipment at big box retailers within a 3-hour radius of your market.

Some overnight travel is expected, approximating 2 ½ weeks per month. You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures, perform preventative maintenance, and use hand and power tools to assemble, disassemble, and repair equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience working with electromechanical equipment.
• Ability to read schematics.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures and provide solutions.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Use hand and power tools to assemble, disassemble, and repair machines.
• Respond to on-site preventive maintenance service calls within contract time frames.
• Communicate effectively with customers, supervisor, and coworkers.
