Job summary

QUANTUM COMPUTING, INC. is seeking an Electromechanical Engineer in Bedford, MA for hands-on development of EO, OE, RF, and photonic modules. You will own integration, packaging, and thermal systems across the product lifecycle.

The role involves designing interconnects, PCBs, and housings, plus developing test plans and automation in Python. Collaboration with product development and manufacturing teams is required to deliver manufacturable hardware.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electromechanical Engineering.
• 2+ years in electromechanical product development.
• Experience with PCB interconnects, packaging, and manufacturability.
• Proficiency with Altium/KiCad/OrCAD and SolidWorks.
• Python or similar for automation and data analysis.
• Hands-on lab experience with hardware assembly and testing.
• Ability to solve multidisciplinary engineering problems across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Own electromechanical integration and packaging of EO/OE/RF/photonic modules.
• Design transmission lines, PD interposers, PCBs, connectors and flex circuits.
• Co-design electrical layouts with mechanical housings for fit and thermal performance.
• Develop and implement electrical test plans and data analysis tools.
• Support transfer from prototype to manufacturing and improve yield.
