Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or electromechanical engineering.
• 5+ years of relevant electromechanical product development experience.
• Experience designing or integrating PCBs, components, interconnects, and packaging into manufacturable hardware.
• Experience with PCB materials selection using datasheets and supplier data.
• Proficiency with PCB design tools (Altium/KiCad/OrCAD) and 3D CAD (SolidWorks).
• Hands-on lab experience with hardware assembly, testing, and characterization.
• Ability to solve multidisciplinary electrical, mechanical, thermal, and manufacturing challenges.

Responsibilities

• Own electromechanical integration of PCB/hybrid assemblies including thermal systems.
• Design and integrate PCBs, interposers, connectors, and flex circuits.
• Select PCB materials (FR-4, ceramic) for electrical/thermal needs.
• Research components using distributor databases and datasheets.
• Create/maintain component libraries and lifecycle data.
• Develop 3D CAD models and drawings using SolidWorks.
• Build, test, troubleshoot hardware and perform root-cause analysis.
• Develop test automation and data analysis tools in Python.
• Transfer designs from prototype to manufacturing with DFx considerations.
