Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering field.
• 2+ years experience with circuit-board-based control systems.
• Experience programming embedded controls (C/C++/Python) and PLC/HMI systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot control hardware.
• Hands-on experience integrating electrical components into machinery.
• Experience collecting and analyzing test data.
• Strong communication and multi-project coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve control systems for electromechanical products and automated testing equipment.
• Maintain, program, and troubleshoot existing PLC-controlled systems.
• Collaborate with engineers and partners on circuit-board-based controls and data collection.
• Select and integrate electrical components including motors, encoders, sensors.
• Develop and run automated tests to evaluate performance, reliability, and service life.
• Troubleshoot problems, identify root causes, and verify corrective actions.
• Prepare electrical schematics, drawings, BOMs, and test documentation.
• Coordinate testing with suppliers and outside contractors.
• Work with mechanical engineers and product managers to improve designs.
